One of Austin’s favorite summertime events, the Austin Symphony Orchestra July 4th Concert & Fireworks, presented by H-E-B, will celebrate its 47th season in 2024. This premier Independence Day celebration includes iconic annual fireworks over the city skyline, backed by symphonic patriotic classics.
The long-standing tradition took place at Vic Mathias Shores by the Long Center for the Performing Arts thanks to the kind support of sponsors and the City of Austin. The event is free and open to the public and was estimated at upwards of 100,000 attendees.
New for 2024
Forefront Networks, the producers of the Austin Trail of Lights, and the Austin Symphony Orchestra entered into a partnership giving FFN the honor of re-imagining the future of this beloved event. In 2024 expect to see more live entertainment, additional programming for all ages, more community involvement and an extra day of fun with activities kicking off throughout the city on July 3.
