+ 2023 Summer Internship
About Us
Forefront Networks is launching our brand-new internship program and we are looking for students who are interested in learning about the experiential and entertainment industry. Forefront creates experiences around the US ranging from a 3-day music and wine festival in Napa to creating activations for UT Austin’s Bevo Blvd. to landing corporate sponsorships with companies like Tito's Handmade Vodka and Amazon. Our goal is to create a mutually beneficial relationship with YOU, where we can learn and grow from one another. You will have the opportunity to intertwine with different departments and work on a variety of projects that are necessary to keep our business thriving.
Your first few days, we will introduce you to the on-site team, provide you with desk space, and give you an overview of each department so you are ready for anything that comes your way!
The summer internship is a part-time position, between 10-20 hours per week based in Austin.

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an established College or University
- Rising Junior or Senior standing
- Must be able to work in the Austin office for at least 50% of designated hours, unless you are applying specifically for the Denver, Napa, or DFW team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good academic standing at the University of Texas at Austin, St. Edward's University, Huston-Tillotson University, or any surrounding Texas schools (Austin internship)
- Majors in business, communications, hospitality, or advertising/marketing suggested
- Basic experience in the selected field of interest or events/entertainment production
- Eagerness to learn and strong comprehensive skills
- Willingness to fully commit to the assigned projects
- Ability to self-manage and work both independently and collaboratively
- Be a positive, active team player!

Events Intern:
Job Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):
- Assist the events team with closing out our April event (Live In The Vineyard Goes Country) by creating and/or updating PowerPoint presentations, consolidating recap notes, reconciling receipts and spreadsheets.
- Outreach to local businesses and restaurants to be vendors at future events
- Assist on-site during events (helping set up, support during the day, and breakdown at the end of the event)
- Assist in managing event budgets and event tools
- Attend meetings, take notes, and circulate them to the team
- Taking inventory of all the event items in storage
- Brainstorm new and creative ideas to elevate guests’ experience
- Upcoming events you may have the opportunity to work on: Trail of Lights, Elevation Beaver Creek, Live in the Vineyard, SWA concert series
Marketing Intern:
Job Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):
- Collect digital and social media coverage from Forefront’s Live In The Vineyard Goes Country event and report marketing metrics (analyzing engagement, impressions, etc.)
- Catalog event imagery and organize internal photo folders in an efficient and meaningful way
- Assist in creation of post-event decks and marketing recap reports
- Brainstorm concepts and content to be utilized in our team’s social media strategy, advertising campaigns, and email blasts
- Conduct market research surrounding Forefront’s events
Creative Intern:
Job Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):
- Required: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Required: Submission of a creative portfolio
- Storyboard and create graphic art to be used as assets and deliverables in company sales materials, on-site signage, social media channels, etc.
- Support the creative team in brainstorming efforts for all current and upcoming projects
- Assist in the formulation of client proposals, event recap decks, and other creative needs
Experiential Intern:
Job Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):
- Support the activations team with all on-going projects
- Research different activations that could be incorporated into future events
- Research local and national events that our activations could be a part of (ex. SXSW)
- Track budget costs, important documentation, and team calendar
- Source new vendors, design, and layout for projects
- Schedule vendor, production, and rental meeting/appointments
